Club Registration
Guide to Club Registration in SA.
1. To be eligible for Club Registration, your vehicle must be;
a. 25 years old (or turn 25 years in that year), and a
b. Member of a Car Club that issues Club Reg under the Federation of Historic Motoring Clubs
2. Member must sign up and pay for membership, then purchase a logbook for no more than the duration of membership (eg 3 years membership and 3 years Club Reg). You must have membership while having Club Registration.
3. Add your new / existing vehicle details on membership renewal/sign up OR you can add them to the "My Garage" TAB any time (This is found from the top right orange pull down Menu - select My Account, then the My Garage TAB). Add your vehicle and add as much information as possible, including the required information described below;
note: if you forget to purchase a logbook, or just need to add one for another vehicle, you can purchase them for 1, 2 or 3 years from our "Shop" - from the top menus.
We will require:
a. Blue Page from Services SA or the Online version with your vehicle's details (including REGO #, Engine Number, VIN # etc)
b. Photo of your licence - we need this to confirm your identity and your current Services SA address
4. Please attend a A CACHE Club Registration Day or an Event or a Club Meeting where Club Registration has been advertised to collect your MR334 and/or logbook.
You can arrange a booking with a Registration Officer outside of these events if available - please contact a Registration Officer to arrange.
5. Club Registration Officer will issue you the MR334 form to take to Services SA and a club Registration Logbook.
6. Once you have received your logbook, ensure it is signed on Page 1.
Using Club Registration.
1. 90 Days of registration per calendar year.
2. Each day signed for is valid from midnight to midnight. After the rollover to the next day, a new logbook entry must be added.
3. If your Logbook Membership Year 1,2 or 3 has expired on the "CLUB MEMBERSHIP RECORD" (pages 2&3) you are no longer permitted to drive your vehicle.
4. Each day your vehicle is driven on the road, you MUST fill out the "Details of Day's Journey" (page 4 onwards) including;
(i) DATE (day/month/year)
(ii) Details of Days Journey (you can write cruise, place where you are going etc, it doesnt have to be specific)
(iii) Signature (can be signed by any person driving the vehicle)
FAILURE to follow these procedures above could easily result in a $1500+ fine for driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
